I went to a great event this weekend and took a class on Basketweaving! We made the “Magician’s Basket” based on the painting The Conjurer by Hieronymus Bosch.

The basket in the painting is a bit more round, with a thinner opening, but I decided to go with a larger opening to make the basket more useable. I also made the beginners mistake of curving the basket back in before it had gotten fat enough. It still looks pretty though! The Conjurer is below!
